On March 6, an official open house and building dedication ceremony will be held at Hardtner Medical Center’s (HMC) new $6-million outpatient facility – the Dr. Kenneth P. Mauterer Outpatient Center. The building is dedicated and named in honor of longtime HMC physician Dr. K.P. “Doc” Mauterer, who grew up in Olla and practiced medicine his entire life at HMC.
