Beginning in Pre-K and continuing through 10th grade, he attended school in the LaSalle Parish School System, played high school football, basketball and baseball as a proud Jena Giant, and dedicated many hours in the nearby pine thickets in one of his favorite pastimes – hunting. He then moved to Florida and completed his high school education.
