A mock trial in the case Snow White v. Happily Ever After (2024) was held December 20 in the JHS auditorium. 28th Judicial District Court Judge J. Christopher Peters presided over the trial where Snow White was eventually found not guilty by a 12-member jury.

Snow White Found ‘Not Guilty’
(EDITOR’S NOTE: On December 20, a mock trial was held in the Jena High School auditorium by Candace Hudnall’s civics class. A large crowd of students, family and friends attended as the students culminated a unit lesson on the judicial system, with class members taking on the roles of prosecutors, defense attorneys, witnesses and a twelve-member jury.)
