Oh, Christmas Tree
Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree, how heavy are your branches. I lugged you out of the attic, through the bedroom, down the stairs and into the den. I wrestled with your weighted limbs until I was exhausted. It took me more than a few minutes to assemble you and spread your lovely pine needles into the resemblance or a lovely forest pine, many which carelessly fell onto the floor leaving you less than what you were when I first began unfurling your splendor. Oh, Christmas tree, you are a cumbersome thing.
