Back when I was a kid, the world was a kinder place and life was simple. Things weren’t over scrutinized, and people were more laid back and relaxed. For instance, when the fall season rolled around, every school-aged kid I knew, including myself, looked forward to October, dressing up in their favorite costume and going trick-or-treating in the neighborhood.
