The ‘powers that be’ have determined that the average attention span of people/adults today has dwindled down to that of a gnat – to be precise: 8.2 seconds. The up-and-coming Generation Z (today’s youth) only pays attention a mere 1.3 seconds (God help public school teachers!) compared to that of boomers who have an astounding average span of 36 minutes! (Go, boomers!). People born between 1925-1945 lead the pack when it comes to being tuned in to what’s going on around them.
