Reading to and reading with toddlers and elementary school age students is one of the greatest educational advantages that parents and adults can give children. Just ask reading advocate and educator, Mrs. Kathryn Tyler, who has currently begun her 50th year with the LaSalle Parish School Board. She has been a classroom teacher, Homeless Liaison Director, Elementary Supervisor and now serves as Federal Programs Supervisor in LPSB. Her experiences promoting and supporting good reading habits in children is unmatched.
