The intersection of US 165 and LA 127 in Olla has witnessed many wrecks in the 20-plus years since the four-lane was completed and repeated attempts to have a signal light installed have been unsuccessful. Another attempt is currently underway by parish leaders.

Public Meeting Set for Olla Traffic Light
A public meeting has been set at the Olla Town Hall for Monday, August 26, at 6 p.m. to allow the citizens to voice their opinions and concerns for a traffic control signal to be installed at the intersection of US 165 and LA 127 in Olla.
