I don’t like things that sting. I never have. Insects, bugs, and people that sting have the power and potential to hurt. If you don’t believe me, stir up a hornets’ nest and see what happens. Swat at a red wasp and see how it retaliates. Let a sweat bee land on your neck and bite you. Try to cultivate a friendship with a yellow jacket and feel its bite, or challenge a horse fly and see who comes out on top. It has been my experience that things or people that sting and bite don’t care who they bite or what kind of carnage they leave behind.
