The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LaDOTD) announced late last week that LA 460 in LaSalle Parish, between LA 127 and US 84, began construction on Monday, June 10.

LaDOTD said that Dreher Construction will be working on the highway and motorists should expect alternating lane closures during the day (no night work expected) from June 10 until August 31.

Officials said the no detours are necessary but motorists should expect some delays with the alternating lane closures.

“DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment,” the press release stated.
