David Nathaniel Daniel, 52, of Jena, passed from this life on the morning of Saturday, May 4, 2024.
Services were held at 12 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena with Bros. Zach Wells and Cade Posey officiating.
Interment followed in the Nolley Memorial Cemetery in Jena under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena, LA.
Pallbearers were Brad McCartney, Brian Parker, Mickey Cox, Joseph Davis, Dennis Bradford and Donnie Smith.
Honorary pallbearer was Scottie Martin. David was born on July 1, 1971, in Long Beach, California to his mother.
To his family, he was a pillar of strength, beacon of love and unwavering support. Once you met him, you had a friend for life. His glowing smile and jovial personality will be missed by all who knew him. His passions were his family, Harley Davidsons, golf and fishing. He loved his fur-babies, River Bleu and Benji Doodle.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Marie Bergois; daughter, Shasta Johnson; and brother-in-law, Bobby “Hawk” Hawkins.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 21 years, Patti Daniel; sons/grandsons, Austin Chapman (Hailey), Brayden Hood and Colton LeGrande; one great granddaughter, Emma Lynn Chapman; father, Kennon S. Daniel (Janice); sister, Monique Bridges (Andrew); uncle, Cedric Windham; aunt, Avis Hower; sister- in-law, Michelle Burnaman; nephews, Luke Bryant Hawkins, Ashton Burnaman and Tristan Daniel; and many other family and friends.
