In his younger years, Burl Clark was in the United States Air Force and his service included World War II. He is one of the last living WWII veterans in LaSalle Parish.

Jena Resident Turning 100
Jena resident Burl Clark will turn 100 years of age Monday, July 31, and his family and friends are hosting a huge birthday party for him Sunday, July 30, at the East Jena Baptist Church Family Life Center.
