Biden: A Name Worthy of Obliteration

Approximately 50 miles north of New York City is the United States Military Academy known as West Point. On these grounds sits the Old Cadet Chapel in the West Point Cemetery. Inside the chapel, visitors will find the walls covered with plaques and medallions citing brave deeds and battles. Each has a name etched deep into the display of the US military leader of whom it recognizes. But one plaque, close to the altar, differs from all the others. The name that was once engraved deeply on it has been obliterated. The absent name is none other than Benedict Arnold, a name now synonymous with “traitor.”

Most Americans know from history class that he was a traitor to his country but many may not know that prior to his devious act he was a military commander worthy of a plaque at the garrison of which he once commanded.

During the Revolutionary War, Arnold was a militia captain who fought at the Battle of Lexington and Concord and led the first amphibious assault in American history when he secured Fort Ticonderoga.

He was described as “the very genius of war” by a contemporary after he brilliantly planned the Battle of Saratoga and his feats in battle are considered classics in military strategy and his bravery well documented.

But he had a moral problem. Despite his valor and great military mind, he was known as a man with impetuous behavior.

Once, he raced a fellow company to Ticonderoga in 1775 so that he could claim victory there then he submitted an inflated expense claim for the venture. Despite this, Congress promoted him to Major General in 1777 but his superior at the Battle of Saratoga relieved him of his command during battle because of insubordination.

That decision sent Arnold, feeling unappreciated, charging into battle ignoring the fact that he had no official command. The sight of Arnold on horseback reinvigorated the troops and the British collapsed. His actions directly led to French aid that helped speed the infant United States to victory.

However, in his triumph there were seeds of discontent and deceit. By May 1779, he was bargaining with the British and putting into motion the treachery that would forever erase his name from the roll of American heroes.

When President Joe Biden took office in January 2022, he inherited a nation that was rebounding from the crippling effects of the coronavirus pandemic. All he had to do was do nothing and he probably would have been set to win reelection in 2024.

But just like Benedict Arnold, Joe Biden has a moral problem. He and his administration are filled with deceit and treachery. His policies have directly attributed to the economic failure in this nation with high inflation, record goods and service prices and interest rates that show no sign of slowing down.

His border policy, or should I say “open border” policy, has led to more than 5 million illegal aliens coming into our country…and that’s just the number the government has a record of.

His military actions have been the worst of all time, including the travesty of the Afghanistan exit that left 13 American soldiers dead.

Despite the main stream media not covering it, he is possibly the most corrupt US President that has ever lived. More and more information comes out daily about his son, Hunter, and his business dealings with Ukraine and China that prove they are not just some conspiracy theory, but rather facts based on tons of evidence secured by whistle blowers, video and audio recordings, and Hunter’s laptop.

He and his administration have led the social restructuring of USA promoting the agenda of the alphabet people including the total denigration of anything revered at the White House when they allowed topless transgenders run around on the White House lawn.

And speaking of the White House, this past week saw lies and more lies come out of his administration’s mouths when cocaine was found in one of the most secure places in America. Let that sink in: Cocaine. At the White House. Cocaine. Of course, it isn’t Hunter’s, he is just an innocent boy who is constantly being accused of things by the radical right – at least according to Joe.

Biden’s treachery goes far beyond illegal drugs at the White House though. He has sold the United States to the highest bidder and yet he continuously stumbles out in front of the cameras and denies it all.

Biden is also the first US President to weaponize the Executive Branch to go after political opponents and corruption is imbedded deep into the FBI and Department of Justice, all under the approving eye of Biden.

Despite his approval ratings being the lowest of any President in the history of the United States, the Democratic Party is setting the stage for him to run for reelection in 2024.

But I say enough is enough. If there was ever a man that is worthy of having his name obliterated from honored walls of American life, it is Joe Biden.

Benedict Arnold is synonymous with treason. To me at least, Joe Biden should also be listed behind Arnold’s name in that American thesaurus.
