Rev. Thomas T. Tingle, born October 28, 1825, Perry County, Alabama. Died September 23, 1919 Caldwell Parish, 1919. Tingle was buried in Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson, Louisiana. Married to Elizabeth Creed first, his second wife was Permelia Swilley, and his third was Louisa Townsend. His military records show he was a PVT. CO. I, 28th (Gray’s) La. infantry, enlisted Monroe, Louisiana May 11, 1862. Roll July and August, 1963, absent on 30 days furlough from August 12, 1863.
