Deputy teaches self defense class at JHS

“Every woman should learn the skills to avoid an attack and defend herself when her life is threatened.” The words spoken by LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Jenny Parker regarding self defense training are a mantra she lives by and which she extended to Jena High female students last week in JHS Teacher Sarah Roark’s P.E. classes.
