LaSalle Parish’s unemployment rate continues to lead the state as April figures released last week showed the parish maintained its 2.3% jobless rate, the same as it was in March. No other parish in the state had an unemployment rate as low as LaSalle, although two parishes, Cameron and West Feliciana, had rates of 2.4%.
