Goodpine Middle third graders Sophie Williams and Jace Evans from the class of Diana Price and Heather Spence are thrilled by a class butterfly flying over their heads during the GPMS butterfly release. The third graders raised the butterflies from a caterpillar to a cocoon to hatch into butterflies as part of their butterfly observation kits provided by RMS (Resource Management Service) and the Busy Bee Garden Club. Several schools around LaSalle Parish raised and released butterflies grown from donated kits by RMS, the Busy Bee Garden Club and the Olla Pinewood Garden Club. (See more photos inside this issue.)
