This issue of The Jena Times marks a remarkable milestone for your editor as he completes more than a half-century, or 54 years to be exact, of ownership of LaSalle Parish’s official journal and community newspaper. It was the first issue of January 1968 that I became owner, publisher and editor of your parish newspaper.
