In a July 22, 2020, editorial that I penned, I made the case that COVID-19 numbers were being inflated by the state and nation for various reasons, including political and financial. Turns out, the past 17 months proved that editorial was entirely accurate as the numbers were used politically in the USA Presidential election and in our state as billions of dollars were received.
