Norma Carson Sadowski, 81 of Denham Springs, and a former resident of Jena, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at home with her son.
She was born July 22, 1940 in Wildsville, and attended the majority of her school years in Jena.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 19, at the Jena Cemetery, east of Jena, conducted by family member, Rev. James “Merlin” Carson.
After the service the family will gather at Life Church LaSalle at 1269 Justiss Sltreet in Trout, to share memories and have a light meal with friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John J Sadowski, III of Romulus, MI; parents, Roy and Elsie Carson of Dry Prong and Parhams; brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Marie Carson of Jena.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Jamie Coon; grandchildren, Ryan and wife Sandy Coon, and Holly Coon; great grandchildren, Rayleigh, Aeriel, Wyatt, Brady, Wesley, AriAnnah, BriElla, and Gabriel; great great grandchildren, Aiden, Hadleigh and Kollin; her sister and brother-in-law, Francis and Larry Poston of Jena.
