As part of their Giving Together initiative, WoodmenLife and volunteers recently created a flowerbed and rock garden around the flagpole at Jena Elementary. “The new school had a flagpole but no landscaping, so we had the idea as a beautification project for the community to create a flowerbed and rock garden,” Grant said. “It’s all part of WoodmenLife’s Giving Together initiative.
