Five facing narcotic charges in LaSalle

LPSO detectives went to a residence on Cowart Street in Jena on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, to arrest Velma Rison on charges of distribution of illegal narcotics. Detectives had obtained evidence of Rison selling methamphetamine on three separate occasions inside the parish, and obtained a warrant for her arrest.
