After a year and two months of governor ordered mandates, Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards finally removed the state from most of the government restrictions last Tuesday, May 25. During a press conference last week, the governor said he was updating his public health emergency orders to end most restrictions following months of decreases in COVID related hospitalizations and nearly three million vaccine doses administered.
