Nebo Elementary third and fourth graders and Olla Elementary third graders released their class butterflies at their respective schools last week after observing the butterflies change from caterpillars to cocoons to butterflies as a class project with NES Teacher Kristin Webb and OES Teachers Amy Fletcher and Elizabeth Shelton. The butterfly kits used by the classes were donated by Allen Jones with RMS (Resource Management Services). The Butterfly Project, sponsored in conjunction with the Busy Bee Home & Garden Club of Jena and the Olla Pine Wood Garden Club, is part of an annual project to promote the environment.
