The skies throughout LaSalle Parish have been filled with beautiful butterflies of late, as third and fourth graders released their classroom butterfly projects into the wild. The Butterfly Project, sponsored by Resource Management Services (RMS) in conjunction with the Busy Bee Home & Garden Club of Jena and the Olla Pine Wood Garden Club, saw boxes filled with cocooned caterpillars placed into the classrooms of all third graders and many fourth graders as part of an annual project to promote the environment.
