Lewis Ray Hicks, 69, of Georgetown, passed from this life on Monday, August 18, 2014, at his residence after a lengthy illness.  He was a resident of Georgetown for 15 years and was a Christian, a loving father, and a wonderful grandfather. Services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, August 23, at Magnolia Funeral Home in Alexandria with Rev. Lamar Carpenter, pastor of Beulah Baptist Church, officiating. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, sisters, Helen Hale, Faye Holland, Mattie Thomas, and Jean Vreaux, and a brother, David Hicks. Survivors include three  children, Tonjha Hicks, Josh Hicks, and Jonathan Hicks; six grandchildren, Jeremy,
Julius, Jakob, Taylor, Jerik, and Jaxon; six great grandchildren, Lilith, Jamison, Jayden, Olivia, Trinity, and Jeremy, Jr.; and his ex-wife, Pat Hicks.
