Cecil Ann Boothe Davis

Cecil Ann Boothe Davis, 75, of Jonesville, passed from this life on Monday, March 11, 2013, at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. She was born September 10, 1937 in Catahoula Parish to the union of her parents, Cecil M. and Annie Elizabeth Boothe. Cecil Ann was a Licensed Practical Nurse and an active member of Wallace Ridge Pentecostal Church. Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 15, at Wallace Ridge Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Todd Tucker, Norris Poole, and Tommy Cotton, Jr., officiating. Interment followed in the Joe Boothe Cemetery under direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everette Lee Davis, Sr.; son, Everette Lee Davis, Jr.; sister, Annie Dean Boothe Cooper; six brothers, Jeff Boothe, Jessie “Dude” Boothe, Otis “Tucker” Boothe, George Boothe, Bill Boothe, and Milton “Oudie” Boothe; two sons-in-law, Wayne Franklin and Kevin Hughes; and one daughter-in-law, Sheila Creel Davis. Survivors include one son, Hoss Davis of Leland; three daughters, Anita Franklin of Harrisonburg, Lynette Davis Ware of Shreveport, and Angel Davis Smart of Jonesville; 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Chester Cooper, Clayton Boothe, Colin Boothe, DeWayne Boothe, Gary Boothe, and Larry Boothe. Honorary pallbearers were Cecil Boothe, Charles Nobles, Dobie Boothe, Hilton Boothe, Kenny Boothe, Mike Boothe, and Ted Boothe.
